While I've had a lot of fun with the rescripts, I kind of lost heart after the notice of copyright infringement from both a mod and an anti-art-theft crusader. While I do not support art theft, I have never before mentally connected my purely-for-fun, never-for-profit and always-cited-as-Fred's-art gag comics with crime. If Fred Gallagher ever sees my work and is insulted by the use of his comics (which FYI is actually encouraged on his website's forum,) then I heartily apologize. If Fred or his lawyers ask me to take down what I've posted here, or if a Moderator can give me a very compelling reason as to why I should that can trump my "But they're funny!" argument, then I will of course immediately comply.
However, if you stumble upon my rescripts and take offense to the fact that I can actually find my own kind of humor in other people's comics, feel free to remove yourself from my page and go whine about it in a black hole.

Okay!
Now to the people who actually read my rescripts and like them: Sorry, I probably won't be doing more anytime soon.
I know, so sad. But I take mods seriously when they say things like "delete your account" and "legal action," so no more on that front for me.
At the same time, I discovered an awesome online community built around the old Spy v. Spy comics that they had...someplace. Was it Mad Magazine? I don't even know. They call their work "fanart," but it's really far surpassed, in quality, quantity, and imagination the original cartoons.
At the same time, I doodled some cartoons in my school notebook and thought "Hey...those are kind of cute." They're very rough, but I'm trying to improve and any support would be appreciated.
Long story short: from now on, I'm going to try to put up my original artwork (and possibly poems) see how it goes.
Once again, sorry to the people who liked my old stuff (I'll leave it up as long as I can,) hope you like the new stuff just as much.
